The Hi-Plains School District R-23 serves students in grades Pre-K
through 12th Grade. Our school is characterized as small, rural and
friendly. Hi-Plains School District R-23 is located in the Seibert And
Vona communities along the I-70 corridor 120 miles east of Denver. Our
Elementary School is located in Vona and the Jr/Sr High School is
located in Seibert. The school district covers nearly 510 square miles
where farming and ranching are the primary industries. The Hi-Plains
School District R-23 is in session four days per week. Students attend
from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During a typical week students attend
school Tuesday through Friday and are provided several activities after
school hours and on Mondays. In addition to providing our students with
a challenging and exciting curriculum and learning activities that
value each one's unique talents and interests, we are focused on
specific teaching techniques that will encourage our students to
succeed.
