The Hi-Plains School Spelling Bee was held on January 30, 2025. Naveah Jeffords won the K-3rd grade competition, Makayla Castaneda took 2nd place, and Elliott Douglas took 3rd place.
Eivan Turner won the 4th-8th grade competition, Neave Henschel took 2nd place, and Carter Jernigan took 3rd place.
Eivan will represent Hi-Plains and compete at the State Spelling Bee in a few weeks. Great job, Patriots! We're very proud of you!
