Mr. Steve Poet came and shared his knowledge with us as part of the Colorado AG in the Classroom Literacy Project. He read the book entitled "Cattle, Corn, and Courage-The Story of Dr. John Matsushima ", and then held discussions about Dr. Matsushima's invention of the feed delivery truck and its use in feed yards today. He then helped the students explore and compare Dent Corn and Steam-Flaked Corn. Mr. Poet also helped them start a Corn Seed Germination Experiment, which the students will observe over the next three weeks. Thank you Mr. Poet!
