Family Adventure Quest

The pirate themed Family Adventure Quest was held on September 26, 2025. Families started the evening by taking their pirate picture with fun pirate props. Each student received a treasure map and a pirate booty bag to collect their treasures. They spent the evening playing games such as sink the battleship, pin the sail on the pirate ship, find the pirate trail, and cannonball toss. They also built a catapult and created their own pirate flag and handprint pirate. They dug for gold in the preschool sandbox, and competed against one another in a peg leg race and a shark sack relay race. Our own HP pirate staff members Mickyla Ellis and Francisco Aquino also got in on the fun and raced each other in the peg leg race! Throughout the night, participants were on the lookout for Mr. Richie's lost music note coins. The evening ended in the galley where our pirates feasted on peg legs (corn dogs), pirate's booty (cheesy popcorn), gold biscuits (gold sprinkled cookies) and pirate ship floats (ice cream floats)!

Thank you to all HP students, families, and staff that participated in our Family Adventure Quest. Thank you also to the Hi-Plains Booster Club for providing the ice cream floats. We hope you had an amazing evening with family and friends and hope to see you at our next adventure!
