On October 9th, the HP Kindergarten students, with Ms. Brubacher and Mr. Crane, attended one of the fuzziest events of the year at Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital! At the Teddy Bear Clinic, kindergartners received a teddy bear friend and took them on a pretend medical journey through the hospital—complete with check-ins, X-rays, and lots of hands-on fun.

This playful, interactive experience showed our kids that the hospital is a safe, welcoming place, taught healthcare basics in a fun and engaging way, and inspired the next generation of helpers and healers.
No shots. No stress. Just smiles, learning, and a whole lot of bear hugs!
A BIG PATRIOT THANK YOU to the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital and their staff for hosting this amazing event. Our students had a great time!
