Read Across America Week encourages literacy with creative activities, games, dress up days, buddy reading, and more! Hi-Plains celebrated with the following days: Cozy Up to a Good Book Day, We POSITIVELY Love Books Day, and Favorite Book Character Day. The excitement felt throughout classrooms was awesome! Students played literacy games, created literacy inspired projects, and listened to Read Aloud. The Food Service Team also helped to make each day special with fun food like Green Eggs and Ham, Swirly Pancakes, decorations in the cafeteria, and Dr. Seuss inspired stickers!
