Hi-Plains Mini Cheer Camp will be held the second week of February with practices on Tuesday, February 10th and Wednesday, February 11th from 4:10 pm to 4:30 pm. The performance will be on Saturday February 14th at 2 pm. Fee is $25 per student which includes a Mini Cheer Camp Shirt. Please complete the permission slip and return it to Coach Bailey Brubacher. Forms are also available at the front office.

High School Cheer Valentine Grams are for sale now. Order forms are also available at the front office.


There will be an important community meeting on Thursday, January 22nd starting at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the future of Hi-Plains School Athletics.

Due to high wind, overall weather conditions, and road closures, the Varsity Boys basketball game vs Arickaree is canceled for today (Jan 16). The game will be rescheduled for February 13, 2026 @ 4pm. Thank you for your support of Hi-Plains Athletics!

Testing is done and the 2nd graders are finally getting to relax and enjoy a movie! 🍿 🎥 They worked so hard, stayed focused, and gave their best effort, now it's time for a well-deserved break! Great job 2nd Graders!

Future doctors and scientists in the making! 🧪🩺 Our busy 2nd graders are learning about the human body through hands-on fun.

Child Find Screenings will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 starting at 9:30 am.

Kindergarten and 1st grade students explore making “fireworks” using water, vegetable oil and food coloring. Students put water in a cup and then oil and make observations that they do not mix. They then add drops of food coloring to watch the colored bubbles slowly sink through the oil and pop when it touches the water making it look like fireworks underwater.

The January Patriot Pride Assembly will be held on Friday, January 9th at 1:50 p.m.

The Eastern Colorado Honor Band event will be on January 8, 2026 in Bennett. Students will practice all day and the performance will be at 6:30 pm at the Bennett Middle School Auditorium. The entry fee is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Good Luck Patriots!
