NOTICE OF PROPOSED SCHOOL BUDGET Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of Hi-Plains School District R-23 for the fiscal year beginning 07/01/2025 and has been filed in the office of the superintendent where it is available for public inspection. Such proposed budget will be considered for adoption at a regular meeting of the Board of Education of said District at 350 Patriot Drive, Seibert, CO 80834 in the Board Meeting Room on June 19, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget file or register his objections thereto. A New School Record was set at the Colorado State Track & Field Meet this weekend. Congrats to Brianna R. in 300 Hurdles!!!

Congrats to the Lady Patriots who had an outstanding weekend of competition at the Colorado State Track Meet at Jeffco Stadium. We are so proud of you girls! Results: 4x200 3rd place with a new school record (break their own from pervious in the season) 4x100 2nd place with a new school record (break their own from pervious in the season) 4x400 6th place 200 meter dash 8th place 300 Hurdles 3rd place with a new school record High Jump 6th, 7th and 11th place.

State Track Send-Off on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 8 am at the Hi-Plains School Parking Lot. Come and help us send our track team off to VICTORY! Good Luck Patriots!

Wow, the 24-25 school year is already coming to a close! Thursday, May 15th is the last day of school and it is a full day of school for PK-11th grades. We hope you have a great summer and look forward to seeing all of you in the fall!

Field/Fun Day Schedules

We’re excited to let you know that tomorrow is Field Day/Fun Day at school! In the morning, students will be participating in track and field events, and in the afternoon, they’ll enjoy a variety of Fun Day games — including some water games! It’s going to be a great day full of activity and excitement. Please help your child come prepared: If possible, have them wear their assigned color to show team spirit. The school will be providing bandanas to also signify colors. Send a change of clothes, so they have something dry to wear after the water activities. Much of the day will be spent outside, so please send a hat and sunscreen. Thanks for your support — we’re looking forward to a fun-filled day!
